FRAN NEILL-Class 4

Fran Neill Fran graduated from U.B.C. in Urban Land Economics and worked as a real estate appraiser in Nanaimo until he retired 8 years ago. He and Barb have been married for 9 years and together have a blended family that includes 7 grandchildren whom he �adores.� The 17 members of this family recently held a reunion of their own at the Neill�s cabin on Protection Island which was a huge success. In spite of a hip replacement, Fran continues to play golf and tennis (doubles only, the corners belong to someone else) and is having fun in good health. Favourite holiday destinations include Italy, Hawaii and California.

Bob Nicholson Still living on Saltspring Island with Helen, Bob retired 13 years ago from the neon business. He is very proud of his son, daughter and 5 grandchildren and of building his home on Saltspring. Bob says he was happiest when first married "and broke all of the time." (Many of us can relate to that, Bob.) He has no one particular memory of high school days, but claims a "flood of great memories and great friends." Sometimes he regrets that he wasn't more self-disciplined, but believes in taking one day at a time and adhering to his motto of, Never quit � Upwards and onwards!
